Question about 1997 Chevrolet Lumina
Hey i have a 97 Chevy Lumina and the oil light came on as i was pulling into my driveway. when i lifted the hood i seen there was oil splatter on the cooling fan. i cannot see where the oil is coming from. could anyone tell me what the problem might be?
Not saying this is the answer but this has happen to me.
If you have the 3.1engine. My dip stick was not secured a the way down which was causing a spraying issue all over my fan.
Not sure if there is a Oil cooling hose. Just double check the Dip stick place a oring around it to hold it down if you cant keep it secure
