Fuel leaking from flexi pipe beside passenger rear

I have a fuel leak from a flexi hose beside rear passenger side.
i have traced it, and it is a small rubber hose coming from under the petrol tank, and gradually increases in size to a small connection with a white piece in it, this is where it is leaking.
i went to subaru and they dont know what im on about as it should be a metal pipe coming out of the top of the tank.

can anyone help me in describing this flexi hose please so i can go back to them for the part.
as they are about as much use as a chocolate frying pan

The only thing i can think of is, its a vent tube of some sort, but i can't understand why it comes out from under fuel tank, unless it runs from top of tank around under tank and back up and it looks like its commimg from bottom of tank.

Gas leaking front passenger side of ford windstar

Have you looked under the hood? (I don't mean to sound like a wise guy.) There are two shiney metal pipes one on the front of the engine and one on the rear as you look at it from the front. They run from right to left on the engine. These are the fuel racks that feed the fuel injectors, (assuming that you have a 3 litre or larger v6 engine). These can concievably rust at the left, (passenger), end and blow gasoline out the passenger side. It is also possible that gas could be leaking anywhere on the engine and roll off the passenger side of the engine or if the fuel line on the driver's side has rusted over a cross member of the frame and possibly roll to the passenger side. Also, there is pretty good pressure on the fuel line when it is running. If there is a rust hole on the right side of the line itself, it could spray to the passenger side, hit something and drip off from there. These are just possibilities. Good luck. Jeff M.

Do you hear the washer pump run when trying to wash the rear? Fuse number F23 20 amps, powers the rear pump the diagram is not clear as to hose routing. I would suspect there is a check valve in the system near the rear hatch . You can trace the hose from the door down the side.

You will need a new pipe. You MAY get it out from the drivers side?? If not, you may have to take the intake manifold off. Job is on the line? so you are a mechanic? if not, pay a shop to replace it. I think the dealer is the only place to get a new pipe. I know the pipe you are talking about but never had to replace one.

Seat Alhambra 1996 1.9L water leak drivers footwell

the water can travel along surfaces or beams in the car so you cannot tell where it is actually leaking. in my ford windstar water leaked in right over the fuse box. it ran along a cross beam from the passenger side. if it has those plastic strips they use to go in between small gaps in the metal... like along the roof where the roof is and the metal of the sides joins it is likely they are leaking. best to take a garden hose and have someone inside the car with a flashlight on the floor looking for leaks

use a garden hose and run water over different parts of the car till you find the leak. my ford winstar had a water leak on the drivers side front (over the fuse panel of all places) finally traced it to the strip of plastic running down beside the windshield... on the passenger side... it was running along a brace under the dash.
