Question about 2001 Honda Civic
I recently bought a 2001 Honda Civic LX 4 door, everything is fine
with it except my cruise control. I press the button labeled "cruise
control" next to the steering wheel on the left side. The light on the dash which if i recall correctly
is right above the fuel gauge also lights up saying cruise control,
then i accelerate to the speed i want and press set, and nothing, the cruise control does not engage and I just lose speed?
So after you push the button and then press the set button in the steering wheel it does not get into cruise control ? It sounds like a minor electrical problem. If you have warranty still I think the dealership should fix it for free.
Sorry i have not been able to help you.

Does your speedometer work properly? if not, check your speed sensor. Many times the connection to your speed sensor may be left disconnected especially after clutch replacement.

The cheapest place to start is to replace all of the vacuum lines. If they are old, dried out, and cracked, that might be your problem.

SOURCE: Honda Civic cruise control fuse
Look in the owners manual that's in the glove box, if there is one, that will show you where and what rated fuse it is. Usually on the back of the fuse cover there is a diagram of the fuses and what the rating is.
