Question about 2001 Honda Accord
Light that looks like check engine is on. What is this light. It just says check
If it is your check engine light that is on instead of paying 4 a diagnostic test which normally runs about $70-$80 dollars to identify the problem i would suggest taking it to an Auto Zone or Advance Auto Parts store and just let a clerk know that your check engine light is on and if they could test it so you could identify the specific problem, they should have no problem fullfilling your request with no charge. The testing device should plug into a piece located under your dashboard to the left of your steering column or wheel.Once you have written down any codes or info recieved from test call your local Honda dealership with vin# and codes and or info from test to see what exactly needs 2 be done and or if its covered by manufact.warranty.Or once you have info from test you may be able to just refer 2 your owners manual 4 solution. good luck!
