There are bolts around the back and sides. They should be about four on each side. The body should be threaded for the bolts. There also might be a nut plate under the lip. Also make sure if you have any kind of dome light installed to trace the wire and unplug it also.

The e-brake switch should be right on the pedal or lever. You may have to remove some trim to get to the wiring.

where inside the jeep is it wet? I believe the unlimited model was all removable hard top. any way check the seals around the removable top and at the windows. but that is the best i can do w/out knowing where inside your jeep it's wet.

Oil pan removal on a 97 jeep wrangler

Instructions can be found in any basic manual but the simple version is to remove anything obvious that will be in your way (starter, trans lines etc). Disconnect both engine mounts and raise engine to get better clearance (watch stuff on top so you don't break anything) I usually stuff a couple of 2x4 wood blocks between engine & mounts to support it. Remove all pan bolts and take it down (remember pump pickup will interfere) Do what you need to do, then reverse process.

Do not have the owner's manual for the 2004 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. Would like to have the instructions for the removal of hard top, rag top replacement instructions, etc.

www.Jeepfourm.com these guys will have write ups and links to vids on your hard top and soft top questions. Pretty much once you do it once it will start to come second nature to you. As far as a manual goes buy one herehttp://www.jeep.com/en/owners/manuals/ or ebay. It has tons of good to know info for the Jeep owner. See ya on the trails.

Hard top wiring

I'm guessing that the top and Jeep are 2 different years.
You need to go to a salvage or junk yard to find the same plug and cut the other one off and splice in the one you buy from the junk yard.
