Question about 1983 Chevrolet C2500
I have a 1982 chevy truck with the 6.2 when you turn the key on the glow plugs come on but they do not shut off it has been starting hard over the winter.
This sounds to me like you may have a Glow Plug Controller issue. If the glow plugs come on and cycle but do not shut off the Control Module may be faulty, my suggestion would be to replace the Controller ( if you haven't already tried that) and possibly replace your glow plugs as well. Hope this helps.
