These are separate problems. You have a black fuse and relay box under the hood by the battery. There are 3 cooling fan relays in that box. 1 for low speed fan, 2 for high speed fan. You also have a fuel pump relay there.
First I would check and clean the positive battery post connection. It has 2 smaller wires that go to all the accessories. The big one is for the starter. I probably would buy a new termianl end and replace it.

Also, go here for our Villager Quest forum. files & photos to help you fix you van.

Cooling fan wont come on 1989 mercury sable

First jumpering the fan motor to the battery is a bad idea. The fan will always run even if the vehicle is not running. The fan probably draws enough current to drain your battery overnight. To find the wiring diagram you may need to buy a chilton or haynes manual. If you know somebody who works for a ford or mercury dealer they may be able to get you a schematic.

1989 ford f 150 i been driving and the engine stop fuel have don't start

could be fuel pump, check for fuel see if fuel pump supplying fuel and you are getting spark.make sure ignition timing is correct and the idle speed setting correct check the under hood emissions information label.also check engine make sure engine not over heating check cooling fan clutch see if cooling fan clutch is okay by turning it by hand if engine is hot cooling fan should have resistance if engine is hot, if cooling fan feel loose no resistance the fan clutch is bad.

I need to find the location of my fuel pump relay switch in my 1989 Chevy Corsica

The fuel pump relay should be on a bracket on the firewall near the center of the engine compartment. Depending on your engine size they should be.....
2.0L
cooling fan.....a/c compressor......fuel pump

2.8L
a/c compressor.....cooling fan.....a/c high speed blower.....fuel pump
or
a/c compressor.....fuel pump.....a/c high speed blower.....cooling fan

Check fuel pressure. Sounds like a bad pump or plugged fuel filter.
