How can i fix a fuel leak coming from somewhere on top of my engine? 1998 Ford Ranger 4 cyl

Fuel leaks are diagnosed by pressurizing the fuel system and inspecting for the leak source. The fuel system can be pressurized by simply cycling the ignition key to the ON position; the fuel pump will come on for about three seconds to "prime" the lines, then turn off. The pressure will remain on the fuel in the lines so inspection can begin. Fuel leaks in the engine bay can originate from fuel lines, the fuel rail or fuel injectors. If the origin of the leak is not visible, it may be necessary to remove certain engine components to gain the necessary access. I find it helpful to locate the fuel injectors first, then follow the rail to the lines and keep working rearwards until the source is located. You can read more about fuel system leaks here: https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/symptoms-of-bad-or-failing-fuel-injection-lines

What is Pc171 Code

It's P0171 & P0174 not Pc 171 & Pc174 ! The engine computer has detected a lean condition ! That mean's it's not getting enough fuel or has a vacuum leak , bad O2 sensor ! fuel pump getting weak . fuel pressure regulator weak !
P0171 - System to Lean (Bank 1) The Adaptive Fuel Strategy continuously monitors fuel delivery hardware. The test fails when the adaptive fuel tables reach a rich calibrated limit. Refer to Section 1 , Powertrain Control Software, Fuel Trim for more information. Air Measurement System
  • MAF sensor (contaminated, damaged, malfunctioning, etc.)
Fuel System
  • Fuel pressure regulator (leaking, malfunctioning, etc.).
  • Fuel filter plugged, dirty.
  • Fuel pump (weak, check valve leaking, etc.).
  • Leaking/contaminated fuel injectors.
  • Low fuel pressure or running out of fuel.
  • EVAP canister purge valve leaking (when canister is "clean").
  • Fuel supply line restricted.
  • Fuel rail pressure sensor (incorrect reading).
Air Induction System
  • Air leaks after the MAF.
  • Vacuum Leaks.
  • PCV system (leak, valve stuck open, etc.)
  • Improperly seated engine oil dipstick.
Exhaust System
  • Exhaust leaks before or near the HO2Ss (exhaust manifold gasket, mating gaskets, etc.).
EGR System
  • EGR valve tube/gasket leak
  • EVR solenoid vacuum leak
Secondary Air Injection
  • Damaged/malfunctioning secondary air injection system (mechanically stuck valve).
  • P0174 - System to Lean (Bank 2) The Adaptive Fuel Strategy continuously monitors the fuel delivery hardware. The test fails when the adaptive fuel tables reach a rich calibrated limit. Refer to Section 1 , Powertrain Control Software, Fuel Trim for more information. See Possible Causes for DTC P0171. See Diagnostic Aides for DTC P0171
View Freeze Frame Data to determine operating conditions when DTC was set. Observe LONGFT1 and 2 PID(s). Refer to Section 2 , Adaptive Fuel DTCs Diagnostic Techniques for more information.

Hello, i have an old L65 Husqvarna chain saw, i have been lookin for a piston kit, but with no luck, i was told that old style 48mm piston out of Husqvarna model 61 will work in a l65 . Can any one co

I have a homelite piston running in my Husqvarna edger . Most pistons for engines are all the same if the cc's are the same . they only vary in the gudgeon pin size and the location of the pin in the piston. So take your piston to a small engine wreckers and any piston that measurers the same ,looks the same will do the job. then get a new piston for the make that it came out off and it will fit.
