I have a 2006 Chrysler Pacifica stuck in second gear will not

Not sure of your mileag but I had a LHS same engine, and when i had a spark plug go bad the computer limited the number of cylinders from firing. Engine would not allow full power so limits shifting.
did tune up replaced all spark plugs.
happened on LHS on 60,000 miles.

How do i change the spark plug seals on a 1996 chrysler lhs

Using a spark plug socket and a long extension, about 12", remove the 1st spark plug. Once the plug is loose, it can be lifted out.

1997 chrysler lhs turns over but no spark. already changed Cam pos. Sensor and Coil block

Try the crank sensor this is the sensor most likely to cause this not the cam sensor. To get to the crank sensor you will have to jack up the passager side of the car and the sensor is located on the transmission bell housing about 3/4 of the way up on the trans were it connects to the engine.(all on the passager side of the trans) It has a 3 wire plug and one 10mm bolt that holds it in. Hope this helps

Location of oil drain plug

Bottom passenger side of oil pan. On the side of the pan. It is a metric bolt and the pan is aluminum, be careful not to strip plug when threading it back in.

Chrysler LHS Starter

The starter is located beneith the engine, near the transaxle and it is attatched to the engine by 3 bolts. You need to disconnect the battery, raise the car to get at it. The 3.3 and 3.5 engines take different starters. Rick
