I bought the truck a few years ago, came with alarmed installed and it didnt give me any problems, just then a few days ago my alarm just shut off on me but the truck was still running. then 2 days ago i go to turn on my truck and it wont crank over. everything turns on, fuel pump, gauges, radio, mostly everything electrical. dont know what it could be. cheked all fuses and they are all fine. nothing seems out of place....the truck had a 4.3l v6 swap when i got it, the previous owner had it done 2 months prior to transaction....can someone plz tell me what might be wrong??? i would really appreciate it :)

check with a company called fab-tech they make some pretty good lift kits for 2wd baja rigs. I have bought one of there kits before and made my own. but I like how easy it was to install and function nicely
sounds like a fuel pump problem. take off gas cap and have someone sit in the truck and turn iginition key to on. (do not turn key as if you were starting but to "on only") you should hear the fuel pump engage. if you dont hear the fuel pump then check the fuel pump relay. it is located behind the glove compartment. hope this helps...
That's an issue with wiring somewhere alont the line. There has to be a short somewhere. Hopefully for you the short is from the new taillight assembly being installed and it would be relatively easy to get to. Hope it helps!
