WHEELBEARINGS REPLACEMENT ON Scion Xa

removal of rear hub assembly, remove rear wheel, then put on jack stands, you will need to do this for both sides, with wheel and tire removed, you need to remove the rotor holding washers, once that is done, there is 4 bolts I think they are 17 mm, with a breaker bar, loosen the bolts, also disconnect the ABS system from the back of bearing, after all bolts are out, you need to use a hammer to lightly tap it to loosen it, to replace them just reverse the steps

How do i replace the wheelbearings on the rear differential?

Hi,
First you need the correct tools such as axle pullers and bearing extractor tools...Then it is just a case of removing the wheels and the brake assemblies from either side.
Once this is done then you can extract the axles to replace the bearings.
Thanks
