If it is the 3.5 V/6 three plugs in the front and three in the rear you can't see the three in the rear. you have three coils on the front plugs each coil splits into three wires for the rear plugs.

How often should spark plug wires be changed 2003 kia optima?

Spark plug wires are usually recommended to be changed between 60,000 and 100,000 miles. However, good quality wires will often last a lot longer and lifespan may be stretched. You should definitely replace them if you're experiencing ignition issues and they have approached their replacement interval.

Kia sedona 2003 not firing on #3 cylinder

With the vehicle running remove the plug for the fuel injector for cylinder #3. RPM should drop. If you have access to nous lights plug one into the injector plug and make sure it flashes. If no flash either the wiring is open or grounded or the computer is not commanding it on and off. You should also look at the cylinder compression. Make sure plugs aren't cracked, are correctly gapped, and no carbon tracking.

I just had a tune up done on my 2003 kia sedona. I had everything minus the spark plug wires, because the mechanic said they looked fine. since i did replce the s[ark plugs should i also do the wires or...

If everything is running fine, I would think you could wait. It is rather involed to replace them. With all that is involved with replacing the back plugs, if I was the mechanic, I would have highly suggested replacing them at that time.

Does it cranks when you start the car? If so, it could be your distributor unit is bad. Check you spark plugs and wires. Test if there is spark produce by your spark plug wire when u start the car (unplug the wire and put it close to the engine valve cover and start the car).

Change spark plug wires on 04 kia sedona

REMOVAL OF THE PLUGS:

Do not attempt any maintenance on spark plug if engine is hot.
1. Disconnect negative battery terminal.
2. Carefully remove high-tension leads.
3. Use compressed air to blow any dirt or debris from around spark plug hole.
4. Check that spark plug fits squarely in spark plug socket and remove spark plug.

Raise a vehicle and install SST(OK552 131 001) in order to replace cylinder 2, 4, 6 spark plug.

INSTALLATION:

1. Install spark plug into cylinder head.

Tightening torque : 18~22lb-ft (25~30N·m, 2.5~3.0kg-m)

2. Reconnect high-tension leads.
3. Reconnect negative battery cable.

Hope this helps and simple to understand. Good luck

Spark plug

In general, if you have to ask "how to change a spark plug", it's probably better to let a professional handle it. If you do it yourself, don't forget to gap the plug.
