Question about 2000 Dodge Durango
When ever i lock the doors on my durango they make a loud screeching noise and at times they will not lock, this wil happen when i use the key to lock/unlock, the keybob, and the lock on the door... anyone have this problem?
This is a common problem on Dodge trucks. The noise is the sound of a small plastic gear that is stripped. The only solution is to replace the lock actuator.

The electric door lock actuators are failing replace the ones that are making the noise.
