Question about 1999 Pontiac Montana
Had to change the battery in our van. Now the radio is locked out and won't come on. It wants a personal ID number which we do not have since we are the second owners of the van. Can you tell us how to get the number of the stereo or where to get the code?
Yeah i have the same problem with my bonneville. so your saying theres know way we can reset the stereo

You need to remove the radio and get the id number off of the radio and call the dealer with that code and they will give you the proper one or if you know where it was originally purchased from the first owner call them and they will have it for you.
also look inside the glove box area some people write them in ther or the manul on the inside cover
