Air blend actuator 2000 ford explorer is not working?

First, insure you do not have a vacuum leak or bad vacuum check valve. If this is all good, you may have to change actuator and every model has a different way to access this--some require dash removal. If you must do this, get a shop manual as the air bags CAN BE VERY DANGEROUS!

How to remove an actuator on 2001 ford f150 xlt

You need to google 2001 f150 blend door actuator replacement. It is slightly right of center above the plastic duct work for the floor area. All lower dashboard plastic is removed to get at it.
Then the ducting is removed.

Hot air not working

Air Temperature Control Blend Door Failure

In all modern cars there is a tiny DC electric motor driven gear drive that moves a plastic door that blends heated and cooled air from the AC and the heater core, this is called (interestedly enough) the air temperature control blend door actuator. The motor that moves this door fails because the door starts sticking from warping, most common complaint is no heat but it can be no AC as well. To replace these parts (blend door and blend door actuator) you must remove the entire dash from the car.

I need to know the technical part name of the "door" or panel that the blend door actuator is called for my 2000 ford windstar

The door that the blend door actuator/motor moves is called the temperature blend door. Although it may not be serviced/sold separate as is the case in many applications. You may need to purchase the whole plenum chamber assembly.

2000 FORD Expedition both heater hoses get warm. gets heat at first then turns cold front and back. I flushed the heater core and didnt get any gunk out. Is this the heatercore or is this the blend door

if the heater hoses are both hot its a blend door actuator, and possably the blend door its self, the way to make sure is to feel around under the dash . feel the black hvac box and if its feels warm then the heater core is good, you will have to remove the dash to replaced the bland door actuator and blend door ,i reccomend you replace both beacause its alot of work to remove the dash so make sure both components are replaced while you are in there

Heater not working on ford focus diezel year 2000

does your blower motor work or it just blowing cold air?
if it does not blow then check the fuse, the motor may be bad
if it blows cold air only then check your coolant level
check to see if the heater hoses are hot on both of them
if the hoses are hot then you may have a blend door actuator bad

My 2000 winstar has duel heat, the rear works, but the front does not.

This is most likely caused by a failure of the heater blend door actuator, which you can fix at home in about three hours (if you have small hands). The front heater is actually working, but the blend door is stuck shut by the failed actuator and is preventing the heat from reaching the dashboard vents. To get at the blend door actuator, you have to take the radio out. Behind it and built into the duct work of the heater is the actuator module, which you can remove and replace fairly easily.
