Follow the top hose from your radiator to where it goes into the engine block, it should be located right under where you attach the hose to the block. Usually 2 bolts should be able to remove to cover. Pay attention to how it is seated and which dicetion the flow is so you can replace the new exactly the same way.

Step1 Disconnect the battery ground cable. Drain the coolant from the system and store it in an appropriate container. Take out the drive belt. Step2 Leave the pipe connected to the power steering pump and remove the pump with the pipe as a single unit. Push the power steering oil pump out of the way. Step3 Take the water hose and the lower radiator hose from the thermostat. Remove the thermostat fasteners. Step4 Lift out the thermostat housing, the thermostat and the gasket. Remove the gasket and discard it. Step5 Install a new gasket to the thermostat and then set the thermostat in place. Set the thermostat housing in position and torque the fasteners to 71-101 inch lbs. Step6 Fill the cooling system with the appropriate type and mix of coolant. Recycle the coolant when possible. Step7 Reconnect the battery ground cable. Start the engine and test for coolant leaks.

A fix ya rating would be most appreciated.

Are you sure you have purged all the air out of the cooling system? That would be the most common issue.

Where can i find the fuse for the cooling fan for a 2000 mazda 626

There should be two fuses for the cooling fan relay in the main box near the battery.
You could have air pockets in the cooling system which would affect the temp sensor.

Where is the thermostat located on a 2000 mazda 626 2.0L

The thermostat on the 2.0 is located on the right front of the engine. It is in the thermostat housing at the engine end of the lower radiator hose. According to the auto parts stores, there is a square thermostat gasket required, however, this is not correct. On the actual thermostat, there is just a rubber gasket that goes around the thermostat itself.
