Starting problems after new engine replaced

I don't know if this will help if it's turning over your missing one of two things or both fuel or spark you can spray either in the throttle body then try it or pull a plug wire stick a screw driver in the end of the wire then hold the metal part of the screw driver next to the motor and have someone turn the key and try to start if it sparks it good keep in touch good luck

My 77 chevy C10 ignition doesn't turn far enough to start the motor.

You can always jumper the starter solenoid until you can get it fixed. You may need to try adjusting the mounting screws for the switch, or the connecting rod may have stretched. The rod goes down the inside of the steering column from the lock cylinder to the switch. The switch is mounted on the bottom of the column.

Firing problems 2000 honda civic

From easiest to hardest on fixing would be to use fuel cleaner, if that doesn't work then you need to change the fuel filter, if that doesn't work then you need to check your injectors, if it still isn't fixed then you need to pull and clean (and possibly replace) your spark plugs.

When I turn on the heat or AC in my 2001 ford taurus, nothing comes out. The blower motor doesn't turn on.

Jeremy is right but it will be a lot easier it you remove the glovebox door and inner pocket to get to the plug for the blower motor

Good Luck!

Car turns over has power but wont fire, what should i check first?

check and make sure you have voltage going to the plugs, remove one plug, put the spark plug wire back on it,, and place the bottom of the plug on a good engine ground, ( just about any bolt head on the motor will work,, try and stay away from the fuel system) have someone turn the motor over , you need to hold the plug with insulated pliers or another tool, so you don't get zapped,, :) ,, while its being turned over, Look for a nice blue spark to shoot off the end of the plug, if you have that ,, the electronics are ok, if not, you have to back track, ( you didn't supply which motor you have so I'll give you a basic rundown of what to check next) remove the distributor cap , look inside it at the points that drop down inside it, ( the metal prongs ) if they have build up on them, scrape it off with a small screw driver or something,, also, check the face of the rotor, clean it if it needs it, probably does ,, re assemble the cap and rotor,, and try starting it again. ( by the way ,, put the plug back ) if it doesn't start after that ,, respond to this reply and I'll assist you more,,

.....I have to go under my car and touch a screw

You need a new starter, your starter will come with a new solenoid on it. You have several things wrong from your description, but I can't for sure tell you what it is until the starter is replaced, replace the starter then tell me what it does and I will help you to the best of my ability. It sounds like your car is spark knocking, or low oil pressure which can be affected by many factors. If it is power steering fluid leaking, it is probably just the gaskets, during idle or driving range if it is leaking it can be thrown anywhere on the engine, even the opposite sides. The harmonic balancer can be visually inspected, if it wobbles or doesn't turn like it should it is bad. The best possible advice would be do a complete overhaul. I would change the starter first though and see how it acts then. Hope this helps.

I HAVE TO START MY TRUCK W A SCREW DRIVER AND I TRIED GETTING A IGNITION SWITCH BUT IT DIDN'T WORK, WHAT DO I DO?

sounds like you have a bad starter solenoid.
Solenoids use low amps to close the circuit so the high amps can turn your starter motor.
that's why you can still start it with a screw driver. You are making the bridge and closing the circuit for the solenoid with the screw driver.
If this helps please give feed back
Hope it helps FixYa

Was running poorly then the motor sudenly stopped, is there an easy way to test the computer. non turbo 1984 911 porsche

Hello there
First i would check the fuse no 6 (from the windshield -dirrection) which is for your fuel pump.
Than most common thing is you DME relay under the drivers seat(the black one)
It should click with the key on and of.
Then you should try to listen (with some one else using the key to start the car)
in front of the car for fuel pump sound while cranking the engine.
The computer is also located under your driver seat, they do not go bad, unless the water gets to it
if you need more help
