I have a 1992 dodge caravan LE I was driving down the road andthegauges
started triping on and off the door locks also now i havedoorlocks but
no gauges are working the lights on the gauges arestillgetting power
pleas help me with this i cant figure it out
You can try to pull the gauge cluster and see if the electrical is still connected usually a plug about 12 pins remove the trim then the 4 screws you should be able to pull it out slowly

Blown Fuse or fried Circuit board. Take to a local AutoZone, Advance, Murray's, O'reillys or a similar part house for them to check the wiring. I'm assuming the van does not use a mechanical Speedometer or Fuel Gauge.
On the plus side, with no speedometer, your indicated odometer mileage does not increase. Just keep your speed down and your tank full. Kidding, just kidding.
the usuall problem on these vans is the bcm which is under the dash and is part of the fuse block assembly. take it out and give the local junk yards in your area a call and have them match the numbers. these are problematic systems. it will probably run you anywhere from $75-$150.
These vehicles seem to have a problematic short, my grandfather has the same vehicle with the same problem, i found the short under the carpet on the driver side of the vehicle, under the gas pedal, sometimes wires can crack and break.
