SOURCE: Moaning noise in steering column

The probably lubed the intermediat shaft conenction. The loud poping noise could be from them not sitting the boot back correctly. Inspect your boot. As for the moaning noise Only thing I can think of is a hydraulic noise.

SOURCE: I have a loud humming noise when I turn the steering wheel

Yes this sounds like the power steering. In fact FORD is notorious for power steering noise after a while. Often you can add fluid to the reservoir and quieten it down but usually when they start making noise they continue. That's usually it though. The pumps are tough and don't usually fail until the noise gets very loud. Hope this helps. Good luck.

SOURCE: Very loud hum coming from front tire, you can feel

it would pay you to go to a" tyres only" place, it may be a tyre separating or could be a suspension mal function , either way it would not be a good experience for it to fail on the road at any speed.best to find out exactly what it is and there will be a person trained to find it at the proper service centre

SOURCE: 2006 Dodge Gr. Caravan. Loud humming noise upon

Misalignment of the belt, incorrect belt, worn or loose tensioner, Too tight of an adjustment (many service centers do this on purpose so when the belt breaks in it becomes properly adjusted, I do not believe in this philosophy), The belt is actually one long belt called a serpentine belt.....

Loud humming noise when starting up, worse when cold, also when turn wheels, is this possible power steering pump or bearing in pulley?

If the power steering fluid is low, the pump will hum/whine as it will draw air into the system. If the fluid level is ok, possible internal pump issue

Verify you have the right amount of fluid, and make sure the belt is not slipping.

My car makes a loud humming noise while driving when turning left. its fine while going straight or right. Wheel bearing?

Possible. If you have changed tires lately, make sure they put the right size tires on. If they went up in size by any measure, it could be rubbing on the tire well and thus making the noise. Check the users manual if you have it and check to make sure the tire sizes are correct. Also check your power steering fluid. That would make a humming or moaning noise but it would be noticeable while turning.

It might be related to the power steering pump, I had a similar problem and bled the system and topped up with fluid and it solved it.

Faint to loud humming noise while driving and turning...

Could be either a loose belt or you are low on power steering fluid,or the power steering pump could just be worn out.

Loud humming noise

The power steering pump humms when it has gone bad.

You need to replace or service it incase there is a blockage due to dirt in the transmission oil compartment.

Costs not so much.

Steering Wheel noise on cold start

this is either a loose belt, or low power steering fluid. Remember that Honda uses a diffrent power steering fluid from everyone else. Make sure it is a Honda compatable fluid, or you will get leaks.
