Flashing red brake light on dash. Brake lights work. Fuse not blown. Parking brake fully released. Brake fluid levels in normal range. No smell of dragging brakes; no sounds of worn brakes. Truck does not "pull" when driving or braking. Any help appreciated

there is a switch at the top of the actual lever .This would be what I would look at.

SOURCE: 03 Ram 1500 E-Brake light flashing

its possible the switch on the e/brake unit broke, take a flashlight and locate a single/double wire that goes to the e/brake assembly (this is the piece you depress with your left foot) and look to see if the wire is broken or the switch the wire goes to is broken.

2005 Dodge Ram 1500. My running lights don't go on?

Check the bulbs. DAYTIME Running Lights are controlled by the Body Control Module. You need an auto electrician for that.

No fuse covering them.

Park brake keeps flashing and beeps

Usually this means one of two things. Your parking brake is still applied and your shifter is not in park...or, your parking brake is not fully retracted and not touching it's fully retracted limit switch. Cycle your parking brake several times with the vehicle off. When you release it let it disengage fully. Start the vehicle and put it in gear but don't travel (foot on regular brake). If your parking brake is fully disengaged then your dash light for the parking brake should be extinguished. If you STILL have this problem then your limit switch needs to be adjusted or replaced.

Parking lights, tail lights, and dash lights dont work

i assume you have checked all lighting fuses. if you have not, start there. do you have brake lights? if you do have brake and head lights then i would suspect the dimmer/light switch.

Dash brake warning light keeps flashing. I just had brakes done, new wheel cylinders on all 4 wheels replaced.

The brake light is actuated by the float in the brake fluid resevoir. When the sensor travels down the light comes on. When the sensor travels or floats in the fluid the light goes off. Check to see that the brake fluid level is at the full line on the resevoir under thje hood. Most cars of this model use standard dot 3 fluid. Another thing that will turn on the brake light is if the parking brake is applied. Check to see if the park brake is locked in its fully released setting. Sometimes you have to pull the park brake pedal up as you pull the release lever to ensure it is up all the way. riding around with the park brake engaged will burn the rear brake shoes up in a very short time.

On the dash brake light is flashing

check the fluid level first, but sometimes the switch on the parking brake gets a little corroded so i suggest cleaning it up and making sure it is fully released. Hope this helps

Would a blown fuse be the cause of a Dodge 1500 losing tail light

Hello. Definitely check the fuses, but also check the ground for the lights in the rear end as your symptoms could also be the result of a poor ground.
