Could have a bad wheel sensor. You need to have the codes pulled if there are any. Sensors are usually the problem.

Brake light (in dash) intermittently comes on when I accelerate after a stop, then goes off.

Does the car have ABS? Sometimes the brake light indicates a problem with the ABS sensors.

Hi i have a ford escort gti r reg and it will not start i have all dash light but just want start i turn the key and nothing.

1st i would make sure the battery cables are clean. the lights will sometimes work and still not start because of corrosion on cable ends. have you tried to boost it also? i'm just trying to cover some issues with you. if you've tried to boost it and still no start, you may have a bad starter. make sure it's in park, shift the gears back and forth, just to be sure.hope this helps and thank you for choosing fix ya.com

Rear drivers side brakes locked up and started smoking, how do i fix?

1. Check the brake fluid levels.
2. Bleed the brakes and see if that fixes it.
3. You might have a blockage in the line or the ABS system could be acting up, Do you have an ABS light on on the dash?
4. You may have a bad caliper. Replace with one of these:

I'd take it to a shop first before throwing parts at it to see if they can narrow it down for you. Hope this helps.

My 2001 polo gti has the abs light and the brake

lift up the rear seats (the bottoms, they lift up and slide forward) there should be 2 black connections there, check they are connected. Check your brake fluid level, if both are ok, (the following is just a guess) disconnect battery for about 30-45mins. this should reset the error (if there is one). failing that, VAG-COM it or take it and get it checked properly

Does my 1999 Ford Escort ZX2 have ABS Brakes?

If he can't tell then I personaly wouldn't use him. But that is my opinion. ABS is model dependant and I believe yours does have ABS.

Fitting a universal cone airfilter to escort gti 1997

Check your auto parts store for an adapter tube. If they don't have one, a junk yard may be able to find something to work.

Condensation in my lexus rear light

there is a leak, the tail lights are plastic welded seams they leak and allow a tiny amount of water vapor in. Have seen this 100's of times. You will need a new tail light assembly.
