SOURCE: radio has no sound or intermittent sound.bmw e39 5 series '00.

You might want to suspect a stereo amplifier. Does your car have DSP? In any case, look in the trunk on the left hand side. You will find your radio amplifier back there. It will have about a 3in connector with a bunch of twisted pair wiring. Remove the connector and make sure there is no water contamination. All sound processing takes place in the amp.

SOURCE: code for radio 1995 bmw 5 series

You need to pull the radio out and get the seriel number off of the radio itself. They were not very reliable to begin with and most had been replaced over the years under warranty. That's why you pull the number from the radio and not the car. You can then take proof of car ownership (insurance card, title, etc) to your local dealer and they can get it for you.

SOURCE: NEED RADIO CODE FOR 1995 325 BMW. ITS A BMW

You must remove the radio (unscrew the two security screws under the small flaps at the left and right sides of the radio face), get the radio serial number from th etag on the radio, then go to a BMW dealer, who can look up the security code.

The two screws require a special tool for removal. you can get it at Bavarian Autosport:

I need fix code radio for my 1995 bmw

You probably need the special 5-sided tool to loosen the two screws under the little doors on either side of the faceplate to pull out the radio. Try other tools, but if the screws are really tight, you need the proper tool, which you can buy on line.
Slide out the radio, read the serial number, and give it to the service writer at a BMW dealer. If they want to charge you money to look up the code, try another dealer.

I just bought 5401 bmw 1995,the radio is showing code which i don't know and the manual did not come with it

That means that the battery has been disconnected. You will need to pull the radio out of the dash far enough to read the serial number. Then ask a service writer at the dealer to look up the code to unlock the radio. You punch in the code using the number buttons on the radio.

How can i get the radio code for my 1995 bmw 525i for free

You need to pull the radio far enough out of the dash so you can read the serial number. The radio may be held in by two special 5-sided cup head screws beneath little doors in the radio face. If so, you can buy that tool on line, or you may get lucky and be able to loosen the screws with some other sharp tool.
If your dealer wants money to look up the serial number and get the code for you, try another dealer. I got my code for free from Niello BMW in Sacramento. (great dealer)

I need a 1995 bmw 530I radio code

You'll have to go to the dealer to have them do it. They can pull your radio and read the serial number to get info from computer on which codes work for your radio. For giggles, check inside your owners manual case for a card that has it on it. There were two cards supplied to the original owners when bought new. Most people just put the cards in there.
