The directions for the DVD player in the owners manual were not very helpful. I would like to play the movie through the headphones and radio through the stereo speakers. I figured out how to get the movie to play through the stereo and radio through the wireless headphones, but cannot figure out how to "switch" the audio. Does anyone know where I can find a manual for the dvd player?

this should be under warranty if its new. go back to the dealer to sort this out one of the computers may need to be reset. just a suggestion. have you looked in the owners manual that came with the truck to see if there is something in it about the problem.
I started tyring combinations figuring if I locked it out it was going to the dealership anyway. 0000 worked for me. It may work for you too. Would have like to have thought that Toyota would have stated what the default was in the manual.
I have an owners manual if you would like a copy. you can email me at email@example.com with your make, model and year and I will be happy to email you a copy. Not sure if the DVD player part is in there and didn't get a chance to look though. sometimes stuff like that has a different manual. Let me know if you need the owners manual anyhow, Not sure how the DVD works in your vehicle so I really can't hellp you there......sorry
On some DVD player there is a little pinhole next to the opening or tray in case the disk or tray won't eject. You can unbend a paper clip and insert it into hole and see if it will eject. If not you will need to remove radio and have it serviced.
Your vehicle is not that old, take it to the dealer and see if your radio is still covered under warranty.
Not sure about the European version, but the American factory version will not play video DVD's while the vehicle is in motion, (Drivers area) due to laws against this. Also...just to cover the non-factory installs, most aftermarket indash DVD players have a safety switch which prevents the driver from playing DVD movies while driving the vehicle. The vehicle must be in park for the DVD player to play a movie.
