If the imobileser does not deactivate using the car keys you need to contact an authorized car dealer to have it unlocked.

You can try resetting the anti theft disconnecting the battery cable, but jaguars have a quite delicate electric system, you may cause further troubles doing this.

The ignition key has a transponder in it. The most likely is that the transponder has lost its programming or is not working. You need to contact your car dealer and get a new key for your car, the fee is about $80/ £50.

You will get same answer from your car dealer, you need a replacement transponder, for reference I report here same answer from a car alarm technician on a different website:

Triton ute wont start. Used all avenues think its the do i bybass it.

You cannot bypass or deactivate the immobiliser.

You need to have the engine scanned to see what fault codes are thrown up by the computer. If you do not do this you will have no idea how to rectify the problem, Guessing won't do it.

A small nob which deactivates the immobiliser in my Daewoo 2001 nubira has broken in to poeces. Can some one help me start the car by bypassing the immobiliser?

if that knob has 2 wires going to it u can join the 2 wires together or touch them together to deactivate immobiliser , the knob is a switch that either connects the 2 wires or disconnects them when pushed ,if there are more than 2 wires i would need to know the colours and how many there are

How to start toyota camry without the key

you most likely wont start it without a key, if it has a factory immobiliser the key has a transducer in the base of it that activates & deactivated the immobiliser when it is put in or pulled out of the ignition switch.......hope this helps.....cheers

Key will not start car

is it the original key? if it is a new key that you have cut & your vehicle has a factory engine immobiliser that can be a problem if the key is not a genuine buick key, reason being the key has a transponder incorporated in it which activates & deactivates the immobiliser & without that the engine wont start, the key will open the doors ,activate the starter & nothing else......hope this helps.......cheers

Immobilizer light

When you turn the key in the ignition, the ECU will ask the immobilizer if it can start thecar. If the signal is not sending then immobilizer error will show. There is a way to deactivate the immobilizer. The procedure is as follows:-- To deactivate the immobiliser just turn the ignition 3 times on and off and the immobiliser will deactivate .But if still the same problem then this could be the immobiliser read coil around the ignition switch or its a flat battery problem. Thanks. you can rate this solution and show your appreciation.

My battery died on my 2003 tiburon and i tried to boost it and the lights start blinking and the siren goes off but the car won't start

Hello there,

Your Immobiliser has activated the alarm, you must deactivate the immobiliser to deactivate the alarm. go into the car (even if siren is wailing and your neighbours are nosy) close the door and put key in the ignition, turn key to ACC position. Hold down unlock button till you see indicators flash once. Remove keys and get out of the vehicle. Try unlocking and locking. This should be reset.
