by outside door latch do you mean the handle or the actual latch in the door?

- Well, the passenger side door on my 2 door 98 cavalier wont shut properly im not sure how to fix it, im wondering if its the latch or just is it knocked out of place? it looks like it is like too low to fit in and needs to be raised to fit in place?- me-liss_Solution #1

the inside door panel has to come off and unbolt handle from inside to replace
