Front camber adjustment Mazda 323 Astina 1997

Would be great if someone could tell me how to do the camber adjustment on this car myself. I suspect the 17 mm bolt on the lower control arm is the adjusting bolt...is it locket by a nut or do i just turn it to get the adjustment? If there is a nut on the end of this bolt it's impossible to get to without dissmantling other parts of the car.

Their is no camber adjustment, its factory preset so to speak by virtue of its design. If you are having a`problem with tyre wear on this side then first measure outside wheel rim front to back wheel through centre ,both sides and see if distance is more that half a centimetre, look at distance between back of wheel and wing if its not equal each side of car then you have a problem.if its just a bit of scuffing on outside of tyre then this is normal and its caused by the power steering. If the wheel is not within the same distance either side then its either a body jig to straighten or the lower track control arm bent ,this sort of thing is caused by people drinking and driving or using a mobile phone whilst driving ,and wacking the kerb.Or evan worse women drivers trying to reverse park with wheel on lock and trying to mount pavement.

If you follow the wires to the top of the engine from the distributor, they are under the boots when you remove them. Plugs are about 4-6" down inside. f2c5d262-e131-42d7-8496-0946d38b78c6.jpg

Battery for 1997 Mazda 323 Astina 5dr hatch

It's fine to use a battery with a higher cold crank rating than original. Consider the rating in the manual to be a minimum requirement. You'll be fine as long as the physical dimensions and terminal placement are compatible with your car. The battery manufacturer's guide should tell you which battery fits your car.

Gears sticky when changing, sometimes crunchy even?

It looks incorrect clutch adjustment, first inside the car depress the clutch pedal by hand and see if there is a free play moor then 10 mm, if so , slacken the locknut at the cable end in engine compartment, now turn the adjustment nut until the distance from the release lever to the roller on the cable is about 3mm, tighten the locknut after adjustmen
