Hello;
If you do not have a code reader for OBDii, you need to take it to someone that can reset it for you. Make certain that your gas cap is on tightly. Then drive it and it may go off as it reads everything is ok.
Hope this helps;
Thanks;

How to fix a slow jet in your car

hello welcome to USA forum fixya.!
the swift is not sold here, (my nephew has one with 1.3L in South America now, just drove it last week. )
tiny front wheeled car sold everywhere, but USA.
why not post symptoms first.
ask for diagnosis.?
the car has no carb, or any jets.
its and EFI injected engine, sold in many size engines world wide.
many are 1.5L , M15a engines, some are VVT valve timed.
so, what's up doc?
me eating carrot......munch munch....

here is the wiki list for 2005 generation.
1.2 L I4 (petrol)
1.3 L M13A I4 (petrol)
1.5 L M15A I4 (petrol)
1.6 L M16A I4 (petrol)
1.3 L I4 (diesel)

Hi where is the crank angle sensor on my 2006/2007 Suzuki swift EZ

welcome to a USA forum, but where are you ,? cars vary by COUNTRY! (big time !)"laws and what's popular"
the swift is in Canada in 2007 , are you there?>

crank, sensor is CKP (suz, names)
so what engine?, we have like 1zillion posts now
for CKP , easter egg hunts and not once did the poster
say, engine size in car. (real names) nor country.
in the USA all engines have CKP in 2006, (laws) 96'+
the cars year is on the registration, it cant be 2 years. sorry
there is a reg year and build year, 07s can be made in July 2006.
sure. Books are indexed by model year, not build date.

no symptoms posted, so context is ZERO !
no country. so engine is NEVER KNOWN ! by us.
the line up is:
1.2 L I4 (petrol)
1.3 L M13A I4 (petrol)
1.5 L M15A I4 (petrol)
1.6 L M16A I4 (petrol)
1.3 L I4 (diesel)
the ckp can be in 4 places. on all engines if fitted at ALL.
Suzuki made 56 engines.
this list above if for your gen, world wide.

The "EZ" monicker ,hints at Australia?
if there? join a suzuki forum there?
or get the FSM for your suzuki at the dealer ship ?"THERE.

so ends the CKP saga again, to zero.

2006 petrol Swift 1.5 litre engine has a cam CHAIN and only needs replacement when engine is overhauled. If you do have a toothed rubber cam belt then normal replacement is 80,000km to 100,000km

Timing chain or belt

which engine?
gen 3 swift had these engines.
1.2 L I4 (petrol)
1.3 L I4 (petrol)
1.5 L I4 (petrol)
1.6 L I4 (petrol)
1.3 L I4 (diesel)
so which one? never work on any car engine, until you know what's there. if I open my hood and look up, there is a sticker there states ENGINE in this car, but that is USA< other countries, have stickers on fire wall or ?
if in USA the VIN has the engine code, but you never stated country.
suz has like 55 engines. but above is for swift.

Emission light is on model 2012.what can i do

emission? you mean the SES or CEL? lamp ? check engine. or service engine,? lamp.
the car is under warranty for 8 years, take it in.
you could scan it with a scanner and if EVAP is failing
tighten the gas cap, reset the DTCs and lamp is now out.
and drive. top failure on all cars 1996 to now, is, loose gas cap.

Weak engine power & high fuel consumption?

Is there any service engine lights on ? is it always or just, hot /or cold what is the miles on it , and have you had any maintenance done. in last year or two? / it could be some thin very simple, like plugged air filter/bad temp sensor/or fuel filter / or just Warren out spark plugs / but all this is just a guess unless we can git a little more info. if no service engine light, then i would start with basic tune up maintenance/ least expensive first/ last of all it does sound as tho it could be a clogged catalytic converter,[ But a clogged fuel filter will too.] so i am not advocating any thin expensive/ only to start with basic maintenance first that may salve your concern/please let us know if this is helpful and please if we can be of any further assistance feel free to ask. Thank You.
