My turn signals wont work right

I have a 1996 Lincoln Continental, and everything works fine except the turn signals work whenever they feel like it. I changed the fuses, and none of the bulbs are blown. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Everything works but turn signals, what is wrong

the fuse could be blown out, or the bulbs are out, or you could have a short in your wiring.

Brake lights wont come on but the third brake light works

There is a separate switch for the third brake light.
Put on your flashers to ensure that your brake lights are working.
Then first look on your gas pedal linkage to locate the brake light switch.

Turn signals quit working is there a relay?

I have lost mine also and in doing research I have found you may have to replace the turn signal lever which is attached to an all in one module inside your steering column about 110.00 for part.
