I don't have much info to work with here.. But I would suggest checking the fluid levels with a car on, if you're handy with tools replace the transmission filter and fluid. But It sounds like your transmission is shot and needs to be rebuilt.

94 Isuzu Rodeo 3.2L V-6, automatic transmission slips from first to second

guesses? there are over 10.

1; low level or too high ATF.
2: filter packed. do the service now.
3: low pump pressure.
4: bad clutch packs, if it slips now, it will get worse faster.
5: or any of the other vast ways to get the wrong pressure to the servos. (huge list)
the fsm covers on car check for a/T why not read that.?
every step.

Giving code po 894transmission

code P0894 is .... transmission component slipping
pcm look for engine rpm when transmission shift and time
if time is too long to drop it raise oil pressure with the force motor to 1 or 2 psi and retest when force motor is at max, then it code P0894
two things component realy slip or force motor is not able to raise pressure
have oil pressure (transmission) check with scan tool raise pressure of force motor to see if able to

Brought 2nd hand legacy 4wd turbo wnt go into any gears?

check to make sure manual shift linkage not loose disconnected or damaged.check transmission fluid also see if too low, transmission could be slipping lack or low on fluid,if all is good have transmission range sensor checked have vechicle code scan see if any shift pressure solenoid bad before assuming transmission has failed. if you buy second hand car taking a chance buying a lemon, if you just bought the car have honest mechanic check out transmission if bad owner sold car to you didnt tell you transmission bad i get refund find another car.

My 2000 VW Jetta TDI suddenly lost power on the interstate. It seemed that it took twice the RPMs to keep the same speed. Is this the turbo kicking off? At lower speeds it feels as if it does not change...

Most likely its your transmission slipping You will need to have it checked by a mechanic if the rpm is double then it has nothing to do with the turbo, if it's a automatic it means the clutches are slipping or if it's a standard it means the clutch is slipping from being worn out or the pressure plate is wore out.

The car lost all gears, like flipping a switch, while driving. Was not slipping or acting funny, fluid level is fine and so is the color of the fluid.

i'm guessing this is a automatic.i would scan the computer for codes and follow the trouble tree for those codes. if no codes you will need a pressure gauge for the trans, to test the line pressure.may have transmission valve body leak, front pump failure may be time for a transmission over haul.hope this helped to guide you in the right direction.

4l60e slips in 3rd and 4th

There are to many things that can cause this problem, best thing to is go get the ECM scanned for DTC codes at a transmission shop or Auto zone or Parts Source since they scan for free.
The ECM should have DTC code in it's memory on how the transmission is Performing and have the Transmission line tested for Fluid pressure.
Good luck and hope this helps. Oh and also ways check with more then on transmission shop if there tell you that you need a new Transmission,
It could be a simple as the transmission filter falling off causing the lost of transmission fluid pressure. Check the transmission fluid too.
