If you mean the ABS light, and the fluid is oily to the touch, It's probably a brake fluid leak, and is serious - take it to a shop immediately! If the brakes have become spongy, then I'd recommend having it towed - losing your brakes can be a very nasty experience.

Why does the abc light come and truck cut off

automatic brake control sounds like a safety interlock setup which is designed to shut the truck down when a defect is noted that is serious enough to require attention..look at brake fluid level first, then start checking the other brake components for issues..good luck

What does the ABS light mean in an Audi A4 Quattro 2002, it comes on every other time I start the car. I even went to put brake fuild in it and the fuild looked like it was full.

This is the light for your anti lock brakes. This is the unit that allows you to stop without locking up your tires. This is a system of sensors, pumps and actuators. This light is telling you that there is a problem with your ABS system that needs to be inspected for proper operation. Most all of your brake shops have a computer that will diagnose the problem for you for a small fee.Your brakes will still work but I don't recommend putting it off.

If you had a brake job you might have air in the system that needs bleed out.
Crack open the bleeder on the caliper and watch the brake fuild come out steadly and close it and don't pump the pedal. Do this to each side this is called bench bleeding and watch the brake fulid level while you are doing this add fuild as you bleed each side.

Also sounds like a leaking line check under the car for a leaking brake line. Next would be a master cylinder problem. But more than likely a brake line might be rusted up and leaking, sooner or later you will not be able to stop. If its a leaking line it will leak all the fuild out of the master cylinder. You can replace the line and use the bleeding procedure in step one.

Brake low pedal

Many vechicals required maintenance to the brakes. Check your fuilds, usually pedel to floor means lack of fluids and also air in your break lines. Try cleaning grease your pins get the condition up to par. While you have the wheels off have a friend pump the brakes pedal and leave pedal to the floor Bleed your brake line one at a time there is a screw on the caliper release (usually on japan car 10mm screw) and tighten back up repeat proccess two times to brakes all around. Make you should you have brake fuild on hand buy the big bottle DOT3. If this process doesn't help than your would need to replace the master cyclinder, and booster

Chryslers need clean transmisson fuild and the right type of fuild. I would check the transmisson fuild level and top up if needed. If the fuild looks old and dirty have the transmisson serviced witha fuild and filter change - 50-100 buck could save you big $$$ on a trans job later
