Question about 1995 Isuzu Trooper

95 Isuzu trooper heitates or rpms drop off after driving about 15 miles or so.If I shut off engine and restart it runs another 10-15 miles and drops off again.

I'm having similar problem with mine, and I think it's possible I got some bad gas. Maybe from an old backwoods gas station95 Isuzu trooper heitates or rpms drop off after - 2.gifwith condensation in their tanks, or maybe condensation as mine hadbeen sitting for weeks at a time recently. I may try to completelydrain every bit of gas, and change the fuel filter, and throw some fueltreatment in when I put new gas in. Gonna check a few other thingsfirst, though.

This seems pretty normal. So long as the pressure does not fall while driving, you're good.
When Idling there is very little stress on the engine, and it requires little oil pressure to maintain.
Additionally, the pressure is directly related to the rpm of the engine as the oil pump is driven by the engine. As the rpm increase, so does the pressure. The pressure should be stable at a given rpm.

The pressure on the high side is good. On the low side is adequate (idle). You did not say how many miles, but the only way to change this is to rebuild the engine with new bearings and seals. I don't think that's somthing you want to do. Sounds fine for now. Leave it alone.
Don't fall for a new oil pump. That is very rarely the issue.

WELL WHAT ENGINE HAVE YOU GOT I know it must be either a V6 OR V8 and if the right hand bank of either 3 or 4 plugs leads are taken off and it still keeps the same and it dosent make any differance to the revs etc then it got to be a gasket on the inlet manifold on that head so that no petrol vapor is getting as it is sucking air only..
But what i carnt work out is how it run correctly on the Left hand bank only (IT CARNT)
There was a Army truck 1 tonner years ago that was a v8 and they had it to run on 1 bank of 4pistons {as a 4 cylinder engine} and after 150.000 miles they would take the old pistons out and fitted 4 more to the other bank and they kept running 100%.. but you havent got one of them sorry to tell you.. If you live in the US Take it into an Auto Zone store and they will read off the stored code for you , once you have this you can determine your next course of action.
Other Auto supply outlets may offer the same service.

yes, i had the same problem. i've got a 93 isuzu trooper, but look in the chilton's manual, the engine and fuel systems are all for the most part identicle. My fuel pump went out, so I had to put it on a lift and drop the fuel tank. the pump is actually Inside the fuel tank. swapped it out along with the strainer, and now it runs like a dream. hope that helps.

change your spark plugs......most of the power lost involved is because of using injector cleaners and toooooooo much of it........it ok to use it.....but it will fowl your plugs.......supper easy to change them...Note: make sure you use a spark plug socket...with the rubber insert so you dont keep dropping the plug.......just unplug the black wires one at a time and pull out the coil/plug wire.......and change them......please dont use those crappy champion plugs.....!!
