Ran great and all of a sudden while parked in a flat driveway started to spit and spudder like a spark wire was shorting out checked wires all were good tured engine off and will not start again. Checked / Changed following.Ignition mod, coil, cap and rotor, wires and plugs all new. Fuel pump comes on and primes but no fuel at tbi. Used starting fluid during cranking and no start. Also have good oil pressure. Tested plug against ground from cap/coil and nothing. Tried starting in neutral and nothing. No engine light on dash and no codes when using jumper. All fuses are good .Compleatly lost can anyone help.....?
Take off the distributor cap. Check the star wheel that is splined to the distributor shaft that the pick-up coil uses. Make sure this wheel is not loose on the distributor shaft. It is right above the pick-up. If it is loose, replace the distributor. This is a common problem. If it needs one, all the part stores stock the distributor.
