Question about 1991 Jeep Cherokee Briarwood
Sometimes it starts and sometimes if you shut it off it won't start again for 10-15 minutes. Don't know if it is the crankshaft position sensor or the fuel pump. Once it starts it runs like a dream. Any ideas and what would the cost be to replace the fuel pump since it is in the tank? I priced the pump itself for $130 and the crankshaft position sensor for $50 and I think the labor on that would be about $80. But I don't quite know what it is. Once it starts it runs fine. Doesn't die that I know of.
Most likely is the crank sensor as they are very common problems on the jeeps.
