The 2006 should have the same setup as my 2007 Suzuki Forenza. Find the wires in the back of the driver’s side headlight and follow them all the way back to the fuse box just behind the battery. Release the four clips on the sides of the fuse box and lift it up. Looking across the car from the driver’s side tire, the connector you’re looking for should be at the bottom right corner of the fuse box. Disconnect the large white plug and look at it. The top slot to the immediate right of the clip part is pin# 3, and the one below it is pin# 8. You need to run a wire from pin# 3 to your passenger-side fog light and from pin #8 to your driver-side fog light. The ground wire of the passenger-side fog light goes to G102, which is a ground point behind the passenger-side head light, and the ground of the driver-side goes to G101, behind the driver-side head light. You’ll also need a 15amp fuse and a Front Fog Lamp Relay to put in the fuse box you handled earlier (refer to the diagram on the inside of the fuse box lid for placement). Once you have all this, all that’s left is to make sure that you swap out your old headlight switch for one with a built-in fog light switch and you’re all set!

Possible solution, but when i first bought my '05 i took it in for the mischevious airbag light... I was told i needed my coolant and tranny fluid flushed and they did from what I remember 2/3's on both for 150.

Would you say suzuki forenza 06 is a good car to buy?

They have been doing well and there problems are fewer than most. Sounds like you have a pretty good car. Have those trouble codes checked and repaired though so it does'nt cause problems down the road. Good luck.

Suzuki forenza

I have had the same problem recently. I did some searching on the internet and came up with nothing. I went out to my car and decided to take a look at the gas cap. I noticed that after turning it and hearing the clicks that are supposed to tell you it is tight, the cap came off again with no effort at all. I brought the gas cap to Advance Auto Parts and I found out that the spring mechanism inside the top of the gas cap was worn from use. This was causing the vapors to leak out inturn causing the check engine light to come on. I bought a replacement STANT gas cap (specifically for the 2006 Suzuki Forenza) for $9 and the light has been off for the past two weeks. The dealer wanted $80 to diagnose the problem and then another $30 if they needed to order a gas cap. So, I decided $9 was better to waste then $110 trying to figure out the problem. I hope this helps.
