SOURCE: cannot locate the fuse box in a lincoln ls

On the passenger side, under the dash, on the right side if you are looking at the dash. There is another one in the trunk next to battery. There is a third one under the hood behind the right headlight.

SOURCE: 2000 lincoln ls heater not working...thermostat?

- If temp guage reads normal, the lack of heat may be due to the Heater Control Valve. Located in front of the radiator. Lower passenger side. A real bugger to replace.
- The plastic cap just over the thermostat is key in re-filling the anti freeze and bleeding air.

SOURCE: 2004 Lincoln LS A/C Valve

In order to charge, you must locate the low pressure valve to install the refrigerant. The low pressure valve is between the compressor and the evaporator. Do not charge on the High Pressure side, The high pressure valve is between the compressor and the condenser. To locate the low pressure valve, follow the line that comes from the compressor and routes toward the firewall. The valve will be somewhere on that line. Do not overcharge. The amount of pressure that is needed on the low pressure side will depend on the ambient outside temperature.

Will a 2000 lincoln ls rack and pinion fit on a 2004 lincoln ls? Does it matter if it's v6 or v8? I have a 2004 lincoln ls 3.9 liter v8 and need a rack and pinion. Somebody please HELP.

engine size is immaterial when it comes to steering
what matters is body length, mounting positions and methods, tie rod lengths , position of pinion , method f attaching steering shaft
best if you go to a wreckers and view both steering assemblies side by side to check any differences
or you can pull both out and interchange or you can go to a dealer spares and see if the boxes have the same part numbers
or you can ring a steering specialist shop and ask if there is any differences

Where the temp blend door for passenger side on lincoln 2004 ls

The Blend Door is internal of the Heater Box. You have access to the motor from the outside but the Door itself, you have to pull the Heater Box out to repair... I am assuming you have an issue with Cold on one side and Warm on the other..... Try the Motor First....

2004 lincoln LS/V6. all i get is hot air no A/C Dealer says it is stuck heater control valve. Wher is it & how difficult would it be do myself

This used to be on the heater line going from the radiator to the firewall. Of course it also used to be a manual pull cable. Even if it is not a manual cable anymore the control will have to be located on one of the hoses that run from the radiator to the Firewall usually on the passenger side.
