Question about 1996 Plymouth Neon
I can be driving my 1996 plymouth neon and all of a sudden the car just quits. It acts like it is going to turn over but does not do it. If it sits for awhile we can get it going but then it eventually quits. Could this be a fuel filter problem or a fuse problem?
I had the same problem with my car. I would be driving it and it would just die on me. I didn't have to be at a stop for this to happen either. I took it to several mechanics before one of them finally pin pointed the problem. I changed the fuel filter, fuel pump, gas tank, spark plugs, along with other parts and nothing seemed to work. Then, by the grace of God, a mechanic solved the problem. It wound up being the crank censor which only cost me $240 all togather. It took almost a year for them to finally find such a cost friendly problem. You should have a mechanic take a look at that for you. Hope this helps!! Good luck!
