Question about 2000 Ford Windstar
LEFT STOP LIGHT WORKS WITH BOTH IGN ON AND OFF.
RIGHT STOP LIGHT
1. WITH IGN ON, BULB OUT OF SOCKET, WITH BREAK PEDAL DOWN, THEN PUT BULB IN SOCKET, LIGHT COMES ON AND GOES ON AND OFF WHEN PEDAL ACTIVATED. THEN AFTER A FEW TIMES IT STOPS WORKING.
2. WITH IGN OFF, BULB OUT OF SOCKET, WITH BREAK PEDAL DOWN, THEN PUT BULB IN SOCKET, LIGHT COMES ON AND GOES ON AND OFF WHEN PEDAL ACTIVATED THEN AGTER A FEW TIMES IT STOPS WORKING.
3. WHEN YOU CHANGE IGN SWITCH FROM ON TO OFF, THIS IS WHEN BOTH 1 AND 2 ABOVE MAKE THE BRAKE LIGHT STOP WORKING.
Thereis three switches to check one is the muti function switch. the second is the headlight switch and third is the brake switch on the pedal.if not them check your ground and see if it is secured properly
