Have a 1993 Toyota Celica gt think securty system is locked now no spark to distributer.

you may have to use a code reader to reset the CPU program as flat batteries can corrupt the program and cause starting problems.

My stater turns on without turnning the ignition switch

you should replace the ignition switch. I had that problem with one of my vehicles. replaced the switch and lock and it worked just fine after that. Have them check the starter though because having it keep running like that can do damage to the starter itself

does the engine turn or does the start just engage when you say clicked real fast makes me think its the starter have you checked all fuses have you checked to see if its getting fuel is it getting fire from plugs

New battery , lights work but nothing happens when ignition turns. starter does not turn. No radio or other electrical assesories work.

it might be the ignition switch i would have to say from experience. i would check it out. the is the main switch for all the relays

Will a broken timing belt on an 83 toyota celica

The Toyota Celica Supra has the 5M-GE engine which is NON-interference motor. The worst a broken belt will do is leave you stranded.

Hi I have a 93 celica and it won't start. The battery is good but the starter will click but will not turn. I here a humming noise when I try to start my car! Is it the distributor?

hey rebecca, 1st thing to check is the battery cable connections to make sure they are clean, and tight. If the battery is fully charged, and the connections are good, you should probably take out the starter and bring it to a parts store to have them check it out. Most stores will do this for free. So, check those connections, and then see if the starter is shot. Your distributor shouldn't have anything to do w/ what u describe. Let me know how u make out. Curt
