I have a 1997 saab convertible need help with putting top down
I just bought a 1997 saab converitible but I dont know how to put the top down. I prees the one button and the windows come down and I have unlocked the latches and pressed the second button but nothing happens and i dont' know if ther is something else i need to do and i dont know where the top goes to when you put it down. doan you please help me

I would suggest you buy an owners manual, but the convert top switch is usually in the center console, it will show a little symbol that looks like a top

- i got a 1997 saab 900 se convertible and the top wont go down when i press the switch i hear something in the right rear cornerturning but it just wont catch. what can i do to fix it? - wootie02

The handbrake must be on.

- If the hand brake trick doesn't fix it, the convertible top computer is seeing a fault and has shut the system down. You'll need someone with a factory tool to talk to the car.Yes
