Could possibly need a new thermostat, the thermostat opens and closes depending on the heat of the coolant. maybe also check your heating core. as well as the quality of you coolant.

I have a 2006 dodge grand caravan, when the car is in driveway idling the car wont heat up but as soon as you start driving the car, the car heats up normally. Should i replace the thermostat or is it...

The reason for replacing the thermostat is improper cooling - not heating. The purpose of the thermostat is to shut off the flow of coolant through the engine allowing the temperature to build. When it reaches the temperature it wants the thermostat opens and allows coolant to flow to maintain the proper temp. Dodge Caravans have a track record for maintaining a low temperature until the engine is at higher rpm. While it is inconvenient in cold weather it it not bad. However, you want to check that your radiator fan is shutting off when it is cold. A fan that is staying on when it shouldn't could cause the temp to stay cooler.

No heat

One or more of:

1. Your coolant level is low
2. Your thermostat doesn't close and needs to be replaced
3. The valve from the cooling system to the heater core is stuck
4. Your heater core is clogged

2003 doge caravan heat goes on but as i drive

Your thermostat is probably stuck open causing the engine to run cool. One way to check it is to open your radiator when it is cold. Start the vehicle and see if the water is rushing around inside the radiator. If it is you know the thermostat is open. Replace that and you should have plenty of heat.

you might need a new heater core or maybe the switch that turns the hot coolant on and off to the heater core might be bad.

Mice chewed through wiring harness to fuel injector to #4 cyl

the corect name for the harnes would be the engine harnes, usually expensive adn hard to replace. I make repairs on problems like this all of the time. a proper repair would include replacing the damaged wires, soldering the conections adn heat shrinking the repairs to keep out moisture. this kind of work will not be cheap, if it is you are not likely to get a quality repair. hope you can rid your garage of mice.

2001 Grand Caravan no heat and occasional over heating.

depends on the engine....a 2.4 requires the removal of the timing belt......on a 3.3 /3.8 the water pump is on the passenger side close to the fire wall.look for an orange or green coored residue in the vacinity of the pump....i would bet its leaking
