2002 pt cruiser light problem

I have no park lights or dash lights. I have an alarm, if I unlock it all the park lighs come on and if I lock it .I checked the fuse.Is there anything else I can check?

The interior light stayed on and wouldn't shut off so I had to take out the bulb. Why did this happen?

If the fuse is good, and they light up with the turn signals and brakes, it is most likely in the switch itself. Something is not making good contact.

Sounds like the shift lock solenoid is not working, there could be a couple of different things causing this. First thing I would check is the brake light switch witch is located under the dash on the brake pedal assy.. The second thing it could be is the shift lock solenoid its self, wich is located around or near the shifter.

now sometimes this happens to let you know that one of the doors are open
check your doors
this is the only thing i can think of altho you have most likely checked it lol
also lock the car with the key
you don't want it to get stolen
