Question about 2004 GMC Sierra
At the top but not the bottom. I took the handle off and could see the top rod releasing but the bottom is out of the "clip" or what ever holds it. can you help me find a schematic of the door so I can take it apart and fix it. With this economy I can't take it to the dealer.. Thanks in advance for any help.
Wayne, the only diagram that you will find is a parts breakdown at the dealer. They will blow it up for you on the computer screen. It sounds like the rod has come out of the lock mechanism, if so its a small plastic clip that holds it in place. You can pick one up at a local parts store in the "help"section. Good luck, dont forget to rate.
