most water pumps I believe have a weep hole that drips out coolant basically letting the person owning the car know that it is time to change the water pump. but then again have you checked to see if the water pump hoses are secure and aren't cracked?
You are not able to.... it must come off.... The harmonic balancer keeps the belt in a groove so it can't jump time.... use a good impact to get off the balancer....
First, look at the direction the balancer turns. Remove the belts. Put the proper sized socket on the balancer bolt and, install a breaker bar into the socket. Make sure the bar is at the side of the engine compartment, where the top of the balancer rotates toward. Next, BUMP THE KEY but DO NOT crank the engine. When the bar contacts the wall or other object, it will stop, allowing the engine to continue and break the bolt loose.
