Is the check engine light on when you turn the key switch on ?
The one thing that can affect both the gauges and the ignition circuit is the key switch.

SOURCE: Chrysler town and country guages will not work and

This is a common problem with the voyager, caravans and Town & Countrys. What the problem is is a cold soder in the interment cluster itself. The problem area is where the plug comes from the van into the cluster. You need to take the circuit board out of the cluster and reheat the soder on the back side of the circuit board were the plug plugs into. This will fix the cold soder permanitly I think its about 16 pin you have to reheat with the soder gun. If you don't feel comfrotable doing that you can just replace the interment cluster and it will be fine but if you buy a used one make sure it was tested. Hope this help I have done several of them.

Have the codes read. This will start you in the right direction. Quit taking advice from people who are guessing. The van died , the check engine light is on. read the codes and then we can help. Unless you want me to guess also.

2003 Chrysler Town and Country will not turn over. Battery at 12.5 volts with no drop in voltage when key turned to start position, but I do hear a faint click sound. All lights, windows, guages appear to...

When you turn the switch over, does the lights dim or flicker? If that's the case then the battery don't have the power it needs to turn the engine over, so it could be the cables and post need cleaning, or the solenoid for the starter is bad. The description you give with the clicking sound, gives me the thought of starter solenoid, but always do the easiest and cheapest. "clean those terminals and post first"

The vehicle antitheft light is on and my 2003 chrysler town and country van wont start.we still have the original keys i can hear the starter relay but not the solenoid

your nearest dealer needs to "reset" that with a "starscan" they will need both of the keys to verify that they both have good "Signal" and to reprogram them to the vehicle. veh. needs to be present at time of repair.

Try output sensor for the transmission (it is similar to a vehicle speed sensor), these can control the speedo and shifting. Not sure if it does anything to the rpm guage, but very possible.

Power locks do not work on 2003 chrysler town & country

try unhooking the battery for 3 minutes then reconnect, locks should start working, theres a problem with the computer programing with the locks, the dealers have to reprogram your computer so it doesnt happen again, thats a well kown problem, ive done many on caravans and town & countries, good luck.

1998 town & country. It won't start again.

We had the same problem. It was the circuit board in the dash. There were crackes in one of the solder spots. My mechanic removed the dash and did a spot solder on the place with the cracks. It has worked for two months. It seems the solder spot was with a too cool of a solder when it was manufactured. Do it yourself or get your mechanic to fix the probem.
