Do all three brake lights not work or just the lower two? The lower two go through the turn signal switch, but the high mount does not.

Brake lights 1990 dodge Dakota don't work is there an in line fuse that I am missing

Check the switch on the brake pedal first, then if you have power to it and power goes out when pedal is pushed you probably have a broken wire under the chasis

Passenger side brake light out

If the fuse is alright (brake and running lights) and the left side brake light works I would suspect a bad ground or socket.
You could use a test light to check if you have power to the bulb. Do this while the brake pedal is depressed. First remove the bulb in question ( look at the left lens a note position of brake light) just mirror the position. With bulb removed ground one end of the test light to a bare metal body part or ground wire. Use the needle end to test the exposed contacts. You will see then once you remove the bulb. One contact is battery + and the other is the ground. While the one lead is properly grounded if the probe touches the contact and the light 'lights' that means its getting power. If either of the contacts fails to light the test light you have a fuse or wire problem.

Through steps like above you can also check the ground by hooking the probe back wards. Connect the clip to the Bat. + and probe the other contact to make sure the ground is working.

Driver side brake light won't come on changed the bulb and it still won't work

Check the fuse box...and try to identify which fuse controls the light..usually the fuses are labelled under the fuse box cover..replace it with another fuse..

Right brake light out; tail light works fine

most rear tail lights and turn/stop lights are the same dual filiment bulb. it is possible for your tail light to work and your brake light not to and still have a bad bulb. I would check the bulb first, your brake light works on the left yes? this would mean that the fuse is fine

2001 dodge ram 1500 brake lights

I would guess the brake fuse ( this does not use the same fuse as the tail lights/blinkers) or the ground for the brake light bulb.
