Could be a loose/broken motor mount.  Motor mounts are fairly cheap as far as the part.  If you have some mechanical experience, you could change them yourself.  Other than that, I would check the driveshafts.  They could be worn.  Grab them and try to move them with your hand back and forth.  if they move or click, time to replace them.

I have a Peugeot 307 HDI. The hazard warning lights flash intermittently. Some days I drive about 60 miles and no flashing. Other days they can flash on anything up to 10 times during a similar journey....

I think the problem is in the switch, I would start with that, try and find a used one in a salvage yard to save money if the guess is incorrect.

How to service the air con on a peugeot 307

If you are stil getting good cold air, the system doesn't need serviced. You have mold growing in the vents. There are sprays available at dealers and big box auto supply stores, that you just spray into the vent. Give it 2 or 3 quick shots, with the car turned off. Wait a few minutes to givw it some time to work. When you start the system up, the smell should be gone. If not, do it again. Clorox and water works quite well too but you can ruin your upholstery if any drips.

Sounds like a starter motor problem. Possibly a sticky solenoid. Try rocking the car or giving the starter and solenoid a hard bang with a hammer.

peugeot and citreon cars do bite high generaly, it is hydaulic there is no adjustment. but it also depends on how high it is ?? does it slip if you slightly rest your foot on whilst driving?? they do have a problem with the bearings going through the cover as it is the same bearing as a HDI . but you woud notice this as a different problem. ie noise or vibration on pedal. call me for more info .. paul @ the clutch centre..01527 64440 07790438337
