3.4 v6? If so, should be located under the P/S pump. Should be able to see the wires coming up from underneath it.

You need to use an extension and probably a swivel socket to get to the bolt. Once the bolt is out, you can grab the sensor with a pair of pliers.

How do i replace cam sensor

The cam sensor is located in the timing cover, below the water pump. You may have to remove a few things, like the serpentine belt and the water pump pulley to get at it. Be careful not to break the tab off the electrical connector when removing it. I usually use a thin pocket screwdriver to pry it back just enough to pull the connector off. The sensor is held in place by a bolt and retainer. If the O-ring seal is old, it may take some effort to remove it. Coat the new O-ring with engine oil or dielectric grease to make it easier to insert.

Car wont start after putting on a new water pump

My first guess would be something is not connected such as a sensor or power to the coils. The crank sensor and cam sensor could be in the area of the pump.

From the inside of the engine compartment. Sometimes the entire lens holder has to be removed in certain cars. But see if your car has a plastic holder of the bulb where you can turn it counter clockwise to remove .You turn it a little bit then pull it out.
