I think this has a fuel pressure regulator , it mey be the prob. check this out on autozone for info http://www.autozone.com/shopping/repairGuide.htm?pageId=0900c1528018ee95
An easy way to test for an FPR leak in the vacuum side is to replace the vacuum line going into the FPR with a length of clear tubing. Now you'll be able to see leak as it happens. IT will most likely show failure when your vacuum is at its lowest point, as in during acceleration.

check the wiring at the fuel pump tank connect for looseness? Control of the fuel system is maintained through the Powertrain Control Module . did you test the volts to the fuel pump? check out all the wiring for damage before you even think about the pcm get a diagnostics scan if you can

Check passenger side firewall, where the carpet meets the firewall. there is a fuel cut off switch. most likely it's tripped or the connector came off.

Why won't my car start? It was running last night.

Try start the car again when it is completely dry, if it starts the rain may be short circuiting something on the loom in the engine bay.

If it still wont start,

will it turn over? (car tries to start)
- If it wont turn over the battery would be dead

- If it turns over but wont burst into life then we can go from there ^_^

Toyota corolla diesel with turbo wont start already genera overhaul, 4 new pistion, spark plug, glow plug( heater) all are new n fuel pump ia working fine but still wont start any suggestion pls...

i could suggest you to look your fuel line and the fuel filter if are free from any restrictions and if the line has a solid line of fuel(no air). air on the filter or on the line, engine really wont start.
and this assume engine timing is ok?

In my chrysler 88 new yorker fuel isn't getting past filter

Hi! It wont past the filter if the Fuel pump is faulty. The fuel pump sucks fuel from fuel tank to the engine. If its faulty it wont have a fuel supply to the engine. Have it replaced and you'll be good. HOpe this helps and have a good one!

Turn key to start-engine turns and i have spark wont start

I would check fuel pressure so you can rule out pump. I had a bad pump right out of the box before. Also you may want to change fuel filter so you can rule out plugged filter. You have spark, sure seems like still no fuel.
