1993 honda del sol... heater wont blow out hot air, only cold...

I recently bought my 1993 Honda Del Sol. However the guy that i purchased it from installed the radio himself and didnt know what he was doing, he left the ground wire exposed and while going to start the car one day after work, it sparked and caught fire for a quick second. this caused my heater to stop working completly, no air was coming out what so ever. I replaced the fuses for the heater core, and the heater is working now, however it is only blowing out cold air. Does anyone know what i can do to solve this?

Sounds like he left a hot wire out, and not a ground. Most likely shorted something in your heater controls. Check there first.

Hi i have a 1994 honda del sol and my heater wont work and my rear defroster..

normally when your defroster and heater or ac dont works, you need to replace your AC/Heater
headunit. you can go to a junk yard and get a second hand for like 50 bucks.

1993 honda del sol horn does not work. Horn

Im in the same boat with my 99 civic si. it is wiring in the steering wheel that is causing your horn to not work. it is a lot of work to replace the wire in the steering wheel, so if you want a horn, my suggestion is to wire the horn to a aftermarket switch. it is a cheap and easy solution and will get the job done.
