Question about 1986 Nissan 300ZX
1987 300zx non turbo brake lights will not go out
On you brake pedal, there is a switch, that switch is what turns your brake lights on and off. Must be stuck in "on" position. This is a common problem for the brake light NOT to come on, but I suppose the reverse could also be true. Check this switch, unplug it and see if your lights go off. If they do the switch is to blame. See if you can "oil" up the switch or clean it. You would be supprise at how much dust and debris can jam those switches.
